About Parks 94124
Committed to making Bayview Hunters Point's Parks GREAT!
The mission of Parks 94124 is: to build community, park usership and stewardship by creating innovative, engaging and fully accessible park and open space facilities throughout the 94124 zip code. Parks 94124 goal is to ensure that parks are clean, safe, engaging, functional and enriching for the community to engage in healthy recreational activities.

Parks 94124 was created on November 10, 2010 as a community park group representing the 94124 zip code. This unique park group was founded by four natives of the Bayview Hunter's Point community: Ms. Geoffrea Morris, Executive Director, Maya Rodgers, Co-Founder Chablis Scott, and Lena Miller, Founding Members. Each of the founding members are mothers that currently work and live in the Bayview Hunters Point community. The Hunters Point Family, a grassroots, youth/community development agency, serves as the fiscal agent for Parks 94124.

Park 94124 has launched a major campaign to redesign, rehabilitate, and secure funding for the many neglected and dilapidated parks in the 94124 zip code. Parks 94124 will engage community participation, partnership and stewardship of the parks to enhance the overall quality of life for families living in the Bayview Hunters Point community. We advocate for the parks of the 94124 zip code of San Francisco. We are grounded in the community and strongly believe that parks help build and sustain communities, especially those that are historically looked over and/or neglected.

Our aim is to collaborate with as many community groups as we can to ensure interconnectedness is achieved. Our aim is to collaborate with as many community groups as we can to ensure interconnectedness is .
